- I thought I was on my own
- I walked Satan’s path alone
- Not knowing that I lived a life of sin.
- That was until the day that I believed
- Jesus Christ had died for me
- Now through him I can start my life again
- Now I’ve been trying to walk that narrow way.
- Trying to keep myself away
- From things that keep my Lord and I apart.
- Sat Goodbye to the old days. Say Goodbye to my old ways
- Say Hello! To a new uplifted heart.
- Then I read that he’d been prophesied
- I read he’d been crucified
- Now I Know that he did it all for me.
- And I believe he washed away my sin
- Three days later he rose again
- Praise God! He broke the chains and set me free.
