The rising star made Spotify Mexico history as the first Mexican artist to lead the ‘Daily Top Artists Mexico’ chart and Continues to break records worldwide, in June 2023 he became the first artist to dominate both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. simultaneously with two different songs: “Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armado and “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 55” with Bizarrap. With 10 songs on the Billboard Global 200 including positions one, two and five, nine tracks on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, he remains the number one artist in Mexico.

Having appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Peso Pluma is breaking the mold and showing the next generation of artists that a musician’s superpower is remaining true to themselves. The highest nominated artist for the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards, he also became the most decorated artist of the night winning eight Latin Billboard Awards including New Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. He also received three nominations for the 2023 MTV VMA Awards including “Best New Artist.” He also became the first Mexican to ever perform at the VMAs where he performed his hit song “LADY GAGA.”
