Sean grew up in Bakersfield, CA until the age of 17 when his family moved to Chicago, IL. Music has always been his focus but songwriting did not come until later in life. He started singing at a young age in a very musical family but drums seemed to be what he was most drawn to. In 1996, he graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. with his degree in Music (drums/percussion).

For 6 years, Sean played drums for various artists until 1999, when he and his wife, Lisa, moved to Omaha, NE. to take a position at Lifegate Church (formerly Trinity Church) as worship leader for student ministries. He laid down the drums and picked up guitar. This is where his songwriting began and, in 2006, he became the Worship Pastor at Trinity Church.

Sean has a heart for the local church in the area of worship. While his first two albums, (Control and Back To You) have a worship aspect to them, they are not solely worship projects. In April of 2009, Sean signed with TENT Creative Group, a record label, owned by recording artist, Dave Lubben.

Sean enjoys hanging with his family, playing sports, drinking coffee, watching football in the fall, movies, fishing, going to the gym, camping and boating, recording in his studio, playing PS3 with his sons and drinking more coffee.

When Sean is not leading worship at LIFEGATE Church, he can be found leading worship at camps, retreats, conferences, etc. He is also involved with leading worship for FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) in various venues.

Sean and Lisa have four children, Josiah (13), Caden (11), Joryn (8), and Cash (3).
