由Brian、Kyle、Brandon、Wingo组成的Jagged Edge来自美国亚特兰大。他们以其深得人心的动人美声闯荡乐坛，可说是集New Edition、Jodeci、Boys II Men等团体特色于一身的新生代R&B男子团体。。深受前Xscape主音歌手Kandi赏识的Jagged Edge，成名前在某一次表演中被鼎鼎大名的制作人Jermaine Dupri发掘，然而成为JD所成立的厂牌So So Def旗下的成员，受到老板高度重视及看好其前途，这使得Jagged Edge迅速走红。。97年底发行的那首张专辑《The Jagged Era》便获得Billboard Heatseeker专辑榜冠军宝座，并相继创造了《The Way That You Talk》及《Gotta Be》两首排行畅销单曲。。。2年后发行第二张专辑《JE Heartbreak》，在ASCAP(美国作曲家、作家与出版商协会)颁与"年度制作人"头衔的JD全权打理，其中首支单曲《Keys To The Range》已经成为Urban电台点播排行冠军名曲，而第二支抒情单曲《He Can\'t Love You》，则仅以5周的时间便窜升至Billboard单曲榜Top15名并拿下R&B / Hip-Hop单曲榜Top 3排行席次。
