The Nightingales are a band / comedian trio of Viggo Sommer , Uffe Rørbæk Madsen and Carsten Knudsen . Their musical style is usually inspired jazz , but incorporates elements from several different genres . The Nightingales were in the 1990s a big TV success, particularly with their blend of Jutland and English (with a minor twist of Copenhagen and German ) in The Advent Calendar , later supplemented by CWC: Canal Wild Card .
