胡淼峪，生于1972年6月4日，自幼喜爱艺术。器乐、书法、绘画、雕刻等涉猎广泛，掌握多种器乐的演奏方法，经过多年的艰辛和不懈的努力，在他的艺术里，形成了一整套完善的音乐体系。成为中国独立音乐一位集大成的新纪元音乐家。近年来他的音乐引起欧洲国家的专业团体及音乐学院等权威机构的认可和广泛关注。开创性的思维方式，大胆的运用各种元素，使之他的艺术表达精神层面，始终趋向于一种理想和自由境界的追求。作为中国为数不多的NEWAGE音乐家，他的成功实践，为当代艺术得到启迪与发展开辟了崭新的道路。

Hu Miaoyu was born on June 4th 1972. He grew up in the ancient Chinese capital of Beijing. His extraordinary artistic abilities showed at an early age, especially in the fields of music, Chinese calligraphy, painting and carving. Soon he mastered a variety of musical instruments on a professional level. After years of hardships and unremitting efforts, he developed an entire set of his own music and became the founder of Chinese New Age independent music. Hu's unique style drew the attention of a number of the European professional bands, music academies and institutions. He fascinated with his innovative ways of thinking, bold utilization of new elements and his very own interpretation of spirituality, the feeling of tranquility. Till the present day, Hu Miaoyu is considered the only interpret of New Age music in China and a pioneer, who paved a way for the contemporary music scene.
