Osvald Helmuth Herbert Pedersen ( 14 July 1894 in Copenhagen - 18 March 1966 in Skovshoved ) was a Danish actress and singer . Osvald Helmuth career began in Randers in 1913 . Then he came to Nørrebro Theatre in Copenhagen . He received in 1929 his big break with the revue song Ølhunden barking by Poul Henningsen . He helped to form the Circus Revue in 1935 . In 1940 , he had many great triumphs in Dagmar revues and was in the 1950s one of the main forces behind ABC revue .

He was the Danish revue actor par excellence and was behind numerous countries plagues. Among the best known is Your heart is in danger Andresen , a glorious summer night , 100 men and a beer and Bar 'once in a while .

As show interpreter was Oswald Helmuth versatile, but is particularly remembered for his portraits of the little man in the show as put up on a firing port , the clerk with wanderlust and around the corner , whether the alcoholic at the tavern. At the other end of the show repertoire, he sang Gluntarne of Gunnar Wennerberg Berg with Poul Reumert .

Of more serious roles in Jeppe Jeppe of the Hill (as a guest at the Royal Theatre , 1954 ) and Doolittle in My Fair Lady in 1960 .
