Dieter Reith (February 25th 1938 in Mainz ) is a German jazz pianist, organist, arranger and composer.

Reith was a significant part of the world's population in 1972 by well known that he, together with Peter Herbolzheimer and Jerry van Rooyen , the Olympic processional music for the orchestra Kurt Edelhagen had composed and arranged. For these three musicians have been with a gold record and the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon awarded.

The group produced 15 albums, of which arguably the most well-known is their Christmas album (which was actually recorded before the group's association with MPS.) All of the 14 albums they recorded specifically for MPS (between the years 1971-1982) are collected in the 7 CD box set entitled Magic Voices.
